Primeira mostra pública no Museu Municipal de Estremoz no seguimento de uma investigação artística e etnográfica em que se explora novas abordagens a partir do imaginário popular da Arte Pastoril, em Portugal.
O Museu de Estremoz acolheu este projecto quando era apenas uma ideia e mostrou total disponibilidade facilitando o acesso ao seu acervo. Um exemplo de como os museus podem apoiar artistas e investigadores e com isso dar a conhecer o património português, muitas vezes lamentavelmente esquecido.
Uma honra poder proporcionar um diálogo entre a arte popular e a arte contemporânea, com as peças originais de pastores e os desenhos e peças criadas por mim.
/// First public exhibition at the Municipal Museum of Estremoz following an artistic and ethnographic investigation in which new approaches are explored from the popular imagery of Pastoral Art in Portugal.
The Estremoz Museum welcomed this project when it was just an idea and showed total availability facilitating access to its collection. An example of how museums can support artists and researchers and thereby make Portuguese heritage known, which is often sadly overlooked.
An honor to be able to provide a dialogue between popular art and contemporary art, with the original pieces of shepherds and the drawings and pieces created by me.
