Intervenção Artística para a 6ª edição do Festival Pedreira dos Sons, promovido pelo Município de Viana do Alentejo em parceria com Escola de Artes da Universidade de Évora, o Festival Pedreira dos Sons apresenta música clássica e artes num espaço único: uma pedreira de mármore desactivada com surpreendentes propriedades acústicas.
Foi criado neste anfiteatro natural um ambiente de sombras nas paredes de mármore da antiga pedreira, com a aplicação de personagens em vinil autocolante a partir dos elementos do alfabeto pastoril.
O Festival Pedreira dos Sons teve início no ano de 2013 e desde então tem vindo a marcar o panorama cultural de Viana do Alentejo. Integrado no Projecto (Saber dos Sons), promovido pelo Município de Viana do Alentejo e pela Escola de Artes da Universidade de Évora, em colaboração com o maestro Christopher Bochmann, o evento da Pedreira dos Sons conta com a parceria da Culartes - Cooperativa Cultural, CRL.
// Artistic Intervention for the 6th edition of the Pedreira dos Sons Festival, promoted by the Municipality of Viana do Alentejo in partnership with the School of Arts of the University of Évora, the Pedreira dos Sons Festival presents classical music and arts in a unique space: a marble quarry deactivated with surprising acoustic properties.
An environment of shadows was created in this natural amphitheater on the marble walls of the old quarry, with the application of characters on self-adhesive vinyl, created from the elements of the pastoral alphabet.
The Pedreira dos Sons Festival started in 2013 and has since marked the cultural panorama of Viana do Alentejo. Integrated in the Project (Saber dos Sons), promoted by the Municipality of Viana do Alentejo and by the School of Arts of the University of Évora, in collaboration with maestro Christopher Bochmann, the Pedreira dos Sons event has the partnership of Culartes - Cooperativa Cultural, CRL.
